I have had no luck whatsoever installing Windows 8 on my new Samsung Series 9 laptop, after paying for and downloading the file the installation proceeds as expected until it wishes to reboot after installing, I get the cyan Windows 8 logo as shown below, the laptop then freezes like this and when the power button is used to shut down, the laptop asks which OS I want to use, Windows 8 or 7, I chose Windows 8 but to no avail, and am back using Windows 7 with a large chuck of SSD now housing a non-working version of Windows This thread is locked.

It lacks the background customization options and audio and video settings of the PC version. It works decently, mostly, but I should have more control over video appearance like exposure, contrast and sharpness, and which device is used for audio input, and which for output - ie. Bluetooth headphones for monitoring and the phone for the microphone.
